Gorilla want to know what all the screaming about. Bossman give Gorilla copy of
Black Empire from FORCE OF EVIL before he leave for vacation. Gorilla think bossman no want to review this because all the screaming scared the poo out of him. So much screaming. Last time Gorilla hear so much screaming was when George over in bear cage got his nuts caught in a bear trap. Force of Evil singer Martin Steene sounds like HIS nuts caught in some kind of big trap. Deep breaths, Martin. Maybe it not as bad as you think. Stop screaming for love of Gorilla. Singing is so much more fun. Screaming just makes people think you have bad case of the runs.
Singer's voice not BAD, but it sound very bad singing these BAD songs. Songs sound like they come right out of "re-hashed 80's Metal Song Bible"... so unoriginal. Steene would sound better on melodic happy-foot-tapping music like the kind that still sells in Europe. Force of Evil going to have hard time landing in cutout bin with material like this.
Songs try to keep with horror theme, but the only thing Gorilla like about "Dead in Texas" and "Voorhees Revenge" is that it only matter of seconds before Gorilla smash this stupid CD to bits and put in copy of
Texas Chainsaw Massacre or
Friday The 13th Marathon.
Cool album cover is the only reason Gorilla gave this poo-fest one star...otherwise it's minus 700.
