Gorilla think man is meeting his secretary behind elephant cage to give her his stiff proposition. Why humans want to have sex while smelling elephant poo is mystery to Gorilla. Devil's Playground anymore.
Gorilla wonder how long it was going to take Billy Idol to realize people really like
Rebel Yell, and he should probably make something that sound like it if he want to keep his fans happy. The first time Gorilla hear first single "Scream", Gorilla feet tap very happy, and Gorilla jump around cage because Billy Idol remember how to sing a ballsy rock song. "Scream" sound like 2005 version of "Rebel Yell", but that is ok because Gorilla really like that song.
"Yellin' At The Xmas Tree" make Gorilla remember first Xmas at zoo. When Gorilla first see those shiny lights on tree, Gorilla think tree on fire, and Gorilla spend all night Yelling at Xmas Tree.
Gorilla also like hearing STEVE STEVENS playing guitar on a rock CD again. That
Flamenco thing he do was nice for experimental stuff, but Steve knows he should be doing windmill-swing guitar moves and playing guitar with a raygun. OK, maybe he can leave ray gun at home. Was cute when he played with VINCE NEIL on
Exposed...now it just sound stupid. Gorilla very happy there is no ray gun on
Devil's Playground.
Billy sound a little different on "Super Overdrive" and "World Comin' Down"...sound like Billy is trying to sound like 19 year old punk singer...but Gorilla think Billy have some shoes that are older than most punk bands in 2005. Billy is rich, old, and has lots of old shoes....Gorilla having a hard time thinking Billy is a rebel. Gorilla still like
Devil's Playground...except for two last songs. If Gorilla could wipe poo on two songs only...Gorilla want to wipe poo on "Cherie" and "Summer Running"...because Gorilla think they already stink like poo.
