BIG BANG THEORY

I aint so shure wyyy it izz that soo manny fuggin rock bands are wanntin to doo all these fuggin cover songs ya know? STYX aint doin much to convince my azz thet thiss is a gud moov with Big Bang Theory . I meen, luukkk... there aint a bad song on this disk ya know...butt I just dontt understannd why we needs anudder vershun of "I Am The Walrus" and "Can't Find My Way Home". Dont gemme wrong boy... Tommy Shaw still has a voise that cann shatter glasses and my nuts with one note, and the fuggin' remake of "Blue Collar Man" is fuggin' great...butt I dont gett the hole cuvver album thang, ya dig?

Styx aint been thinkin rite since my boy Dennis DeYoung left the band...butt i think i knows wyy thems choosed thesse songs. They figger that most of the songs that has been re-did has been re-did a million tiems... so thems went to the pile o' songs thats only been re-dun half-a-millun tiems...the rock sonngs.

OK... I tells ya wutt songs I reely kinda liek... I like LOVIN SPOONFUL's "Summer In The City" and I am diggin on there vershun of the HENDRIX trak "Manic Depression"...er is it Depreshun? ... I dunno. I aint no BEATLES fann, so I aint gunna go nuts about this "I Am the Walrus" thing... I am the dood with the shotgun thats gunna shoot yer fat walrus ass. I was fuggin this chikk backstage at the Whisky one tiem...she wuz as big as a walrus ya know...

Styx aint releesed nuttin fer too yeers...not sinse Cyclorama, and I guezz that 2 yeers is too short to wait fer a new studio record, so thems went into the studio and re-cutted a bunch o trax thems prolly play at soundcheck. This disc wuz inspireded by a recordin' seshun at Chess Studios in there hometown off Chicago... I guezz thems wuz soundchekkin and plaid sum shitt thems knew reely well...and thenn they wanted to do a hole CD fulll off 'ems...

If ya care, bossman sez the band is now consistin of:
Tommy Shaw (vocals, guitars
James JY Young (vocals, guitars)
Lawrence Gowan (vocals, keyboards)
Todd Sucherman (drums)
Ricky Phillips (bass guitar, backing vocals)

Frum wutt I heer, Chuck Panozzo does some bass fer thems every so offen...but he aint in it no more full tiem. If ya lieks the old skool rock tunes and dont mind heerin' em playd by Styx...then yoo shuld pikk up Big Bang Theory. Utherwize, you shuud wait until thems rites anudder disc of originuls.
