It Takes a Nation: London Invasion 1987 DVD

I can tell you if you told me in 87 that I’d be writing a PUBLIC ENEMY review or even be listening to them I would have been sickened. I am a metalhead that has an open mind for all kinds of sounds. I knew of these guys all the years and actually know a few songs here ahead of time. The whole DVD is very grainy in many shots but it is a representation of what this band was up to earlier is the boom of rap. They brought the noise all the way to London. The visuals and sound are more bootleg unmanned soundboard tapes. Get ready for echo. You get a full concert with the end coming firstly on “Countdown To Armageddon” going into “Raise The Roof” and the interlude of “Too Much Posse”. The song ANTHRAX covered with PE in “Bring The Noise”. “Right Starter” and “Timebomb” are a few other tracks that you’ll hear here. The Australian bonus footage is much better looking and sounding. Also you can play the movie version of the concert with some different footage. There is an extra CD version also packed in this DVD giving the PE fan more for their buck. This is a snapshot in time with Chuck and Flav turning it up.
