Kick Out the Jams - DVD
Kick Out The Jams was a film original put together by
Creem Magazine. So get ready for live footage under live recordings of the MC5 right when they were hot. The psychedelic and way they held themselves as a band showed much stage presence.
They give you extras of the band just hanging out tour playing and parting. This isn’t as outrageous as a Pantera home video they offer up some of the very known songs “Kick Out The Jams”, “Ramblin’ Rose” and “Motor City is Burning”.
The DVD case has a nice read waiting for those that love liner notes. I can say that I have some of this bands material in my collection and this serves as the cap off to that. It seems weird that most of this band has passed on but has left a musical legacy even a younger generation of rockers could discover today.
They offer up a John Sinclair interview from 2003. John is doing a thing called Monster Island and he helped the MC5 get out there a day ago. Want some 60’s and 70’s rock to chew on that rocks?
