NUMBERS FROM THE BEAST: AN ALL STAR SALUTE TO IRON MAIDEN
Hoo boy... ittz anudder fuggin IRON MAIDEN triboot disk. Ya gots to
wunder wutt the hell all theez fuggin doodz iz doin fer a livin' udder
then makin cover songs fer Bob Kulick. I meen, come on... I likes the
Maiden, butt I likes it wenn Maiden is singin it. I don't wanna here
fuggin' Dee Snider TRY to sing "Wasted Years", cuz he can't do it az
well as Bruce Dickinson. He's liek all on key and shitt, but the chorus
don't sound so badass as the original...none of the harmonys and shit
is there (well, thems is there...thems is just buried in the mix) wenn
Dee duz it.
And fuggin Paul Di'Anno...who USED to be the fruntman in Iron Maiden
waaay bakk wenn... is singin' "Wrathchild" with Alex Skolnick, Frank
Bello, and John Tempesta. Talk about a reality chekk, boy... "Say guys,
can I cum sing with choo on the new tour?"... "uhh, no...but yoo can
sing on this tribute record..."
Sum of the trakks is cool tho...fuggin "Aces High" with Jeff Scott Soto
is one BAD mawfuggin' song. That boy can make the fuggin' alphabet song
rawk.
Chuck Billy soundz all badass on "Fear Of The Dark"...my boy dun recovered reel good. Fuggin' Chuck is a Gawd.
Wutt the fugg happened to Mark Slaughter's voice in "Can I Play With
Madness"? My boy Mark used to have a fuggin' girl's voice, and now he
gots a raspy thing worse thenn Dicky Barrett.
Chris Jericho duzz a reel good job fer the most part on "The Evil That
Men Do"...he fuggin' cracks on a few noets...nott onlee can my boy
Jericho rassle his ass off, but he can fuggin' sing his ass off. He
shuld stikk to rasslin' tho.
The biggest thing i see with
Numbers From The Beast
is that it sounds liek a reel good cuvver band doin' Maiden songs.
Ain't nothin that ain't been played before in a hundred bands in a
hundred bars in a hundred cities across the U.S. of A. goin on here. If
you wants to heer Dee Snider, Jeff Scott Soto, Mark Slaughter, and John
Bush singin' Maiden toons,...then by all meens, boy...buy the fugger.
