SHADOWS FADE
Here’s something a little different for me to review, I’m not used to
listening to Melodic Rock, especially not new stuff. SHADOWS FADE
remind me of the contemporary rock you’d hear back in the early 90’s.
It’s not my kind of music but
their self-titled debut
isn’t bad at all. There are lots of smooth melodies and rhythms with
very light yet powerful vocals. It seems to be very heartfelt music,
reminds me of BRYAN ADAMS at times. The production on this disc is
incredible and everything is crystal clear. I don’t really have that
much to say about the album, and that’s probably not a bad thing. When
I find something I really love I go on and on about it sometimes, but
most of the time, when you see a longer review, it’s usually me bashing
an album, but not here. This album is a good solid Melodic Rock album,
and since that type of music is not totally my style, I can’t give you
a long list of why the album is good, but I can tell you that it isn’t
a bad album at all.
