REPLAY x3 - DVD
RUSH, a name that is part of the foundation of rock music, has done
something that shows why they stand out from other bands. On June 13,
Replay x3
hit stores and blew me away. This box set features hard-to-find
concerts that were originally released on VHS and an unreleased
soundtrack to the Grace Under Pressure tour.
The point of the
Replay x3
that sticks out in my mind is the band’s performance of “Xanadu”. Now,
Neil Peart only uses a device to play the sound effects but on the
Exit Stage Left DVD,
you get to see him hit the bells himself and run through chimes. My
only complaint with the compilation is that “Closer to the Heart,” “In
the Mood,” “2112,” and “Tom Sawyer” are featured on all three discs.
With Rush’s
Replay x3, you are getting
Exit Stage Left,
Grace Under Pressure, and
A Show of Hands along with the CD for
Grace Under Pressure. An incredible release from an incredible band, everyone should own
Replay x3.
