Legendary death metal outfit SUFFOCATION is back with a new release. Sadly to say, that is the only big selling point of the album. I like the band Suffocation and the album
Suffocation is not bad at all, I enjoy kicking back and listening to “Blind Torture Kill,” but nothing sticks out as INCREDIBLE.
Suffocation is pretty much what you would expect from this band, as they’ve been at it now for 16 years. It is a good listen and it doesn’t disappoint, however it doesn’t stand out above everything else that has been released this year. Along with “Blind Torture Kill,” “Creed of the Infidel” and “Prelude to Repulsion (a re-release from Breeding the Spawn)” stick out as the best tracks.
Give it a listen if you like Suffocation or if you just like death metal in general. As I said, it doesn’t disappoint. Suffocation is a great band and this was a good release; I was just expecting a little more from such a great band.
