Just think of ROBERT PLANT's career after LED ZEPPELIN and you realize that he’s never released a DVD in all those years. So what we have here is Robert and his new band the Strange Sensation doing a number on older classic Zeppelin tracks as with some Plant and Strange Sensation favorites. Be prepared for the reworking of “No Quarter” and you’ll take it or leave it. It isn’t like the No Quarter sound. “Shine It All Around”. “Black Dog” turns in some different time signatures. “Freedom Fries” has cool blues. “Four Sticks” is tried and it aint the original. “Gallow’s Pole” and “Whole Lotta Love” are the other Zeppelin tracks re worked. “Tin Pan Alley” and “The Enchanter” are served up on this DVD. The DVD and venue choice make for one sweet looking DVD, wrinkles and all. Some fans may love the reworked stuff but it rubs the other the other way. I must mention a Dylan cover and “Hey Joe” from Dreamland shows up as bonus songs. I still rather hear that Page, Plant, Jones and Jason Bonham have gotten together, we all could dream still.
