ALLEGIANCE
Have you ever heard of FIREWIND? I hadn’t until their CD showed up on my doorstep and, I have to say, I love it. The band formed in Greece in 1998 as a Heavy/Power metal band and just released Allegiance via Century Media.
I planned on listing my favorite tracks from the album, but the whole album is amazing. Seriously, don’t skip out on any tracks with this one. You need to hear it from start to finish. I have a feeling that this album is going to put Firewind at the forefront of the metal scene and, after one listen, you will agree with me.
Two things that may have made this album as amazing are that there are two new members. Apollo Papathanasio took over vocal responsibilities while Mark Cross gave a new sound to the band after becoming the new drummer.
For once, fans and critics agree: BUY IT!!
