DREAM EVIL is a very cool, yet dorky, Power/Heavy metal band. You may remember them from their cult song, “The Book of Heavy Metal”. Having said they are a bit on the geeky side, I am a huge fan of their latest effort entitled United.
Dream Evil stress that they want everyone to remove the harsh “Death Metal” look from their image, stop taking themselves so seriously, and remember that metal is fun! They prove that metal is fun throughout the release, especially on the track “Fire! Battle! In Metal!”
If you like clean vocals, fast guitars, and upbeat (Dragonforce-style) metal, than Dream Evil’s United won’t disappoint. It might not be for you if you are only happy when your hearing death grunt vocals, but this album is incredible.
