Greatest Hits: The Atlantic Years
I was surprised to see a Greatest Hits release from P.O.D. so soon, but Atlantic/Rhino is offering up a cool package. With a greatest comes a few extras and they are here: The whole thing kicks with “Southtown” a track that it very cool and hit hard. Then again “Boom” is another track that jacks it up. “Going In Blind” is one of those not issued track that probably didn’t make the first record. Testify tracks like “Roots In Stereo”, “Lights Off” and “Goodbye Now” are here. “Alive” is definitely here for a bunch of you out there. The definite big track “Youth Of the Nation” slams down on track six. “Sleeping Awake” is a track they had in Matrix Reloaded the movie. “Execute The Sounds” and “Will You” are track really showing where they have been and have taken this sound. “Here We Go” is a track that didn’t make Testify and “If It Wasn’t For You” is from The Warriors EP Vol 2. I’d say that this was a well put together greatest.
