Slaughter & Apparatus: A Methodical Overture
ABORTED is a crazy band – and when I say crazy, I mean unbelievably talented. The band is set to release their latest disc,
Slaughtered & Apparatus: A Methodical Overture, on Feb. 20th through Century Media and I can’t be more excited than I was to get a copy for review!
This album is, basically, a better quality version of what you would expect from this Death/Gore/Grind outfit. I know, I know – good production skills and Aborted do not go together but this disc does not sound the least bit raw. It is technical and as punishing as you can find today, but nothing about it is under-produced.
The tracks are very well done and the lyrics are as medically fueled as ever. I love Aborted and they definitely don’t disappoint with
Slaughtered & Apparatus: A Methodical Overture.
My personal favorites from the record are: “A Methodical Overture,” “The Foul Nucleus of Resurrection,” and “Prolific Murder Contrivance”. While these three tracks are the best, the whole album is phenomenal and I would recommend picking it up as soon as possible!
