The Dead Live By Love

On March 6, the world will find the next hot metal band. MENDEED will release The Dead Live By Love on March 6th through Nuclear Blast and should have metalcore fans rejoicing. The album is unbelievable and will keep you happy for a very long time.

Mendeed struck it big in 2004, when their “Ignite the Flames” video was placed on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball but it had been nearly three years since we had heard from them. They are back with a vengeance, after touring with the likes of DRAGONFORCE and NAPALM DEATH, with The Dead Live By Love. The album is perfect from beginning to end. The clean vocals compliment the growled ones perfectly and the music is incredibly fast and whiplash inducing. While you can’t go wrong with anything on Mendeed’s release, my favorite songs are “Burning Fear” and “The Fight”.

I can definitely see this band doing well in the underground metal scene. They combine DRAGONFORCE, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, and add in a little style that is just their own to give you one of the best representations of what metalcore SHOULD be about. I would recommend picking up a copy of The Dead Live By Love as soon as it hits shelves on March 6.
