Revolutions Per Minute
SKID ROW is still making music? That’s good news, well besides the fact that Sebastian Bach isn’t playing with the band anymore. A new incarnation of the classic band is back with Revolutions Per Minute via SPV and it’s not too bad of an effort. If you like classic arena rock, you will be into this album in a big, big way.
The album sounds like classic 80’s arena rock that you would expect from Skid Row. Songs like “Disease,” “White Trash,” and “You Lie” stick out as pretty decent listening. There are also a few power ballads on the album for all of the ladies to enjoy.
While it’s a bit of a departure from what Skid Row accomplished during the Bach-era, Revolutions Per Minute is a good record and will remind you of driving your Trans-Am with a big-haired beauty to your right on the way to a concert! As I said, arena rock fans will be pleased. It’s also a good purchase for those who enjoy a blast from the past!
