In the world of celebrity sex tapes, I have never seen one like
Joey Buttafuoco: Caught On Tape before. It would seem that this production was made in direct response to the popularity of
Amy Fisher’s DVD, which was also put out by
Red Light District. So I guess you would have to call it a “revenge sex tape,” the kind you would send to an ex-girlfriend on her cel phone to prove to her that dumping her was the best thing that ever happened to you, even if that’s total crap.
The premise of this video is that Joey and his wife were at Rob Spalone’s house and they decided to have sex, not knowing that Rob had “secretly” planted cameras in the room, and they were “surprised” that the tapes existed. If you watch this video for more than 15 seconds, you know that this couldn’t be possibly true. The video is so clear and nicely shot, that there is no way they don’t know they’re on camera. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s footage of Joey hitting the tripod with his gut.
If there are any highlights that can be taken from this DVD, it’s anytime the screen is dominated by Evanka. Even though she gives off a “cougar” vibe, she’s definitely hot, and how comfortable she is on camera shows she’s a pro at this video biz. When she gives Joey oral, and when she goes reverse cowgirl, she rivals any starlet in the business today. OK, maybe the leopard heels and the breast implant scars are a bit much, but the blowjobs scenes are excellent. The DVD’s quality goes any time you see any part of Joey’s body besides his penis. The gray hair, the belly, and the “look at me railing his chick” face are horrible. This DVD was made for chapter jumps, because you should immediately jump anytime Joey’s mug is visible.
While the bonus disc of five
Red Light scenes from other titles make you want to run out and pick this up, I can’t recommend it. For me, I like when celeb sex tapes at least look like they might be real. But this one, between the staging, and the obvious age of one of the people in it, I don’t know who is dropping $40 on this. I would save your money and hope
