TRANSMATIC

Here is a band that could break radio shortly? The band hails from Indiana and do play a more straight up rock. Not Korn or that stuff. I'd imagine this band can fall in that change of pace area of rock and post alternative. It is sure power pop with a nice sonic edge about it. "Gravitate" opens it that way.

The more mellow "Come" is the first single to hit radio. The catchiness starts the infection starting. More matchbox 20. Some sense of grunge is definitely here. Joey Fingers was an impressive vocalist. He changes it all around on all the songs. You will also note a punk punch in it here and there. You Days Of The New meets Everclear (but better) type fans could also dig it.

"Face To Face" is super catchy, the way the lyrics flow. It definitely has a bit of college radio sense about it, like in the 1990 area. "Need To Know" reminds me of that type of sound. The problem punches harder… More mellowness follows as extras. For a rock record it fares well. I personally don't love this type of music, but these guy put a respectful rock record out. Look for them on tour with Tantric. At least they were on tour with them.
