This weighty, fully articulated 18-inch figure, complete with motion- activated sound, further indulges artist Todd McFarlane's creepy side. Fans of the Army of Darkness movie and McFarlane devotees will be tempted to put Ash front and center in their collections. He's ruggedly good-looking--and obviously stressed out; his detail is exquisite, as expected from any McFarlane creation.
Ash's outfit is faithful to the movie: a torn utility shirt strapped by a rifle holster (rifle intact), filthy pants, a bloody chainsaw, his glove, and a body covered with bloody cuts and nicks, telling of his war against evil. Move Ash's arms, head, or waist and hear several detailed utterances, like "Alright you primitive screwheads, see this? This... is my boomstick!" Too bad "Mr. Fancy Pants" didn't come with this set, and too bad the movie wasn't as well made. Not for children. Requires three AAA batteries (not included).
