You may be one that is loving this new army of Nu-Metal bands these days? The one's making commercial air and still having heavy edges about them. Not only is this the Rock's (WWF) big lead role it is a land-mark for this music for sure. The soundtrack is a who's, who in mainstream heavy grooving music.
Godsmack opens it with "I Stand Alone". If you catch the video for this kicker song you will be blown away! I am one that likes Godsmack, so it is nice to see them do a track between records to boot. P.O.D. are next with a more rap like track called "Set It Off". A remix is thrown at you on that one. Drowning Pool are showing signs of life on "Break You". More of that sound that is working well for them is here.
They said that System Of A Down submitted eight songs for this soundtrack. What you get is one track called "Streamline". For those System fans, you won’t be let down! I'm not really a Creed, Nickelback or Hoobstank fan. I am sure some of you are? I need to tell you that those bands also contribute here. Flaw is also a up and comer that hasn't really hit yet. Rob Zombie and Ozzy offer "Iron Head" from Rob's latest.
The now the Uni band Mushroomhead make a bid here securing as better future. Cool to see those guys getting a chance in the lottery. The mighty Sevendust offer's track called "Corrected". It has some light tendencies and then again slams you hard! Listen to those riffs rupture. This and the Godsmack song are the two shining tracks above all here. Also Coal Chamber surface with a good comeback in this track "Glow". It has some effects and then the phat that they only know how to serve hits you hard. Rayna gets a music credit, but is she playing bass?
Are you one in on the heavy? This is for your new generation of phat music? Or even the Nu-metal fan must take a look at this rather because it is kick ass for its genre.
