777: I LUCIFERI

Danzig has returned to doom rock you to death! I'm sure older fans will return to the fold when the here it’s more stripped down.

It all starts with an intro in to a straight rocking track "Black Mass". Those into Glenn's vocals will definitely like what you are hearing. He supplies many faces of evil here. That track is on the very catchy tip. The riffs are nice and solid those are being supplied by an axeman I've been following for decades, Todd Youth. The Production is also very live on the drums and overall it’s cleaner and heavier than I expected.

"Wicked Pussycat" on the other hand might fly on MTV2? More mellow catchiness comes on "God Of Light". There are definitely more broad vocals there. "Liberskull" opens with a sonic doom riff that breaks down with Glenn wailing in agony. "Dead Inside" goes more acoustic. "Kiss The Skull" is the winner here. That track alone will scare the little Marilyn Manson crowd. The riff is kill heavy. Sweet!

"I Luciferi" is a track with a very sinister sound to it. It also turns into a real rocking winner on this record. You will find that there are many catchy tracks here. "Angel Blake" is another that goes more mellow and does show some other eerie sides. "The Coldest Sun" does show much more Goth and then it slams ya! A few other track close it out. Another fine rocking effort turned in from your friends of evil!
