Can you believe theres a new wave of nu-metal. Like Korn and Limp Bizkit are
now "old school" and bands like Linkin Park, Hoobustank are the new guys in
town. The thought alone scares the shit out of me.
3rd Strike come from the second wave of nu-metal, in the Linkin Park
vein. One guy raps and the other sings, theres samples and elements of hip
hop. Yawn.
I think scientists who have been researching human cloning for all these
years have actually made further advances than they are letting on. I believe
they've begun testing on west coast nu-metal bands.
3rd Strike is just completely generic. Its like as if cloning has been around
for years, and this is just another day with clones walking the street.
They cover Sabbath's "Paranoid" on here and nu-metal it up. Fucking
blasphemy. Don't you guys know you gotta do an 80's pop cover to get big.
Otherwise, this record is totally forgettable. It sounds like a Linkin Park
B-sides record. I guess you can't blame A&R guys, they are just doing their
job. No one wants to be the dude who passed on Linkin Park, so now they are
just signing every pile of dog shit that comes their way via a Jiffy
envelope.
One of the dudes in this band is like 7 feet tall, I hope he's got a big dick
so he can get into porn because 3rd Strike's days are numbered.
