In the music business, if you're lucky enough to have a few albums that hit really big, you should be smart enough to remember the basic blueprint of what got you that success. DEF LEPPARD aren't about to mess with their blueprint for successful hooky songs and lighter-waving ballads.
With their latest, and tenth studio release X , the band delivers another fourteen catchy, crunchy, melodic tracks with a few dozen vocal tracks, that is sure to convince more than a few aging rockers to slip back into their stone washed jeans. First single "Now" is standard Def leppard fare; half rocker/half ballad. Second single "Long Long Way to Go" is sure to roast a few concert halls down with all of the lighters that will pop up when they start singing it.
Happy metal is back, and coming to a fairgrounds or medium-sized theater near you.
