More re-releases to talk about. Here is the first one that was the second record from this "Hot Blooded" band. Rhino has gone on to re-release some of this great rock bands material.
Honestly I must admit I liked them for at least the first four records and that killer Live album topped it all off. I didn't get into the later Foreigner records. I grew on to heavier stuff. I have to stress if bands like this Montrose and a few others didn't come along, would we have had more guitar driven rock? I tend to think not. So if you might consider them old or blah, this was the rebellious music for that time in a way. Almost makes you want to laugh.
The re-master is nice and hot. The two extra cuts were just taken from other released albums like Records and the live record I spoke of. "Blue Morning, Blue Day" was one that always remained so memorable nearly three decades. The classic "Double Vision" is here. It is so nice not to have to flip a tape to get to this song on the other side. Classic rock lives.
