You classic rock fans that had a hard time finding this CD? Now it's in store for and updated and even louder sound that originally heard. The Purple boxed set was one that was killer and I think I reviewed the Burn Re-masters at one point. This comes complete with the one masterful album that saw a split after recording.
You get seven bonus cuts. Some repeat the same song just different versions. Four versions of "Woman From Tokyo" are found here for instance. "First Day Jam", "Rat Bat Blue" 3 versions, "Painted Horse" and two versions of "Our Lady".
Pure and simply this was the bands best for that time and the tension may have helped fire this record up? Fourteen tracks in all and liner notes by Purple bassist Roger Glover. Very cool booklet as you would expect from Rhino! Looking to go retro and get some extras that weren't on the eight-track.
