FRIDAY THE 13th Part VIII:Jason Takes Manhattan

Jason goes to New York? Puh-lease. There are so many holes in this movie-of-the-week-looking-thing, it's not worth my time to list them all...But I'll try a few:

First off, considering at the end of Part VII, Jason is at the BOTTOM of Crystal Lake, how is it that he grabs onto a cargo ship and sets sail down the Atlantic Seaboard to New York City?

Why is Jason TALKING at the end of the movie? Part of his appeal is that he's a silent, walking Cuisinart.

And since when do the sewers of New York flood with toxic waste every night? You'd think we folks who work in the city would have heard about this one.

Utter crap. Only buy it if you MUST have the whole collection on DVD.
