NEED FOR SPEED: HOT PURSUIT 2
If you own a Playstation 2, and you DON'T own this game, then SHAME ON YOU, I say. Shame on you for not allowing yourself the sheer joy of getting behind the wheel of some of the fastest automobiles known to man, and driving upwards of 150mph across some beautiful terrain...and pissing off a lot of cops in the process.
I've always been a fan of driving games; especially driving games in which you can break the law. I mean, NASCAR racing is OK, but you're confined to a track. When you can zip through a crowded City street or little village in the Pacific Northwest, risking serious injury to yourself and other people...well my friends, THAT is when you've reached racing game nirvana.
NEED FOR SPEED: HOT PURSUIT 2 is the most beautifully-designed driving game I've ever played. Of course, the obligatory Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche automobiles are there, in several models, but also present are BMWs, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, McLaren concept cars, and Lotus models are available as well. You can also listen in on your police scanner to find out where an upcoming roadblock is, so you can try to avoid it.
