BUM FIGHTS
Wait a second, you might be asking yourself "weren't these 'bum fights' guys arrested?" Yeah, they were.
"Aren't they being sued?" Yeah, they sure are.
"How the fuck are they still able to sell this video?" You got me, man.
If it helps at all, here's a message that's posted on their website though:
"As you probably heard, the producers of Bumfights, AKA the Bumfight Krew, were recently arrested on numerous felony charges for the making of Bumfights Volume 1: Cause for Concern. And yes, it's true, they are also being sued. Despite all this nonsense, we at Bumfights would like you to know that the video is still for sale, and as long as there is a 1st Ammendment in this country it's gonna take a helluva lot more than that to shut us down. The BFK would like to thank all of their loyal fans for your support and are currently hard at work on the sequel."
Now, what this means is that they're obviously selling enough of these
BUMFIGHTS DVDs and
BUMFIGHTS VHS tapes to justify fighting for their right to continue selling them in court.
If you haven't seen it, well Chester, you're missing out. Over the course of three years, these guys went around to various homeless guys and videotaped them pummeling each other, pulling out their own teeth, performing stunts that are way-too-dangerous, kicking each other in the head, and then beating each other some more.
I have no idea how long these videos are going to be available, but if I had to guess, I'd say not long.
