DID MY TIME - SINGLE
WOW. I mean
WOW. I'm not that huge of a KORN fan, but I really like this song. "Did My Time" was written for the
Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life film, but
isn't going to be included on the movie's soundtrack. The band announced that they would be
selling the single online last week, and in my never-humble-not-ever-ever-ever opinion, it's one of the best songs I have ever heard from these guys.
HERE IS THE LINK TO BUY THE SINGLE ONLINE. It's only going to cost you $.99, and the song is damn good. Don't be a cheap fuck. Spend a buck, and support the band. (I swear, I wouldn't say that if the song was lousy, or if I thought if it was overpriced...but shit...it's ONLY GOING TO COST YOU A DOLLAR.
Melodic, crunchy, hooky, angry. I dig it, and like I said, I'm not a huge Korn fan. The one objection I have is that the intro to the song is nearly identical to the intro to METALLICA's "Breadfan", but other than that, the song is very catchy.
Jonathan Davis spends more time singing than growling in this track, which is probably as catchy as "Here to Stay" and "Got The Life", two of my other favorite Korn tracks...and that's because they're melodic. I like it when rock songs are memorable; it makes me think the band actually put effort into writing it...you know, like maybe they WANTED you to remember it after you heard it and wanted to hear it again.
SO SPEND A BUCK AND BUY THE SINGLE. If you don't like it, well shit...it's a dollar. Anyone who whines about spending a buck ought to have "Cheap fuck" tattooed on his or her forehead.
Jesus, I haven't jerked off in a review this much since...
Well shit, since last week.
