It's official folks. We have officially entered the era of the re-tread. This band has not one single shred of originality (though
I know that's a bit hard these days - they could at least TRY).
I couldn't get passed the piss-poor mix and the psuedo-angry vocal stylings of "Ghost" (oh what pure genius guys....let's give ourselves one word names and write interesting things like verbal abuse, slander
and criticism instead of the word 'vocals' - but then again, this sucks so I won't go there).
It's not that these guys are bad musicians, quite the contrary, it's the fact that so many of these bands waste their time trying to sound like HATEBREED, SNAPCASE, KORN, and GLASSJAW, because those bands are ALREADY making this type of music infinitely better than you can so please...STOP.
There are times when I simply wish I could hear a band that can play heavy, write catchy tunes and deliver the goods without biting off something that's already being done to death. Instead, they subject me to poorly-mixed albums, weak songs, bad production and lame names to cover up the fact that they really have nothing much to say in the first place.
