VALLEY OF THE DAMNED
Strange package from Germany show up in cage last week. Gorilla sit and look at strange package for many moons, and wonder what could be inside. Gorilla afraid of anything from Germany. Volkswagen cars too small for Gorilla and German food has too much starch...make Gorilla sleepy and cause gorilla gut. Finally Gorilla open package and find new DRAGONFORCE music. No small cars. No potatoes. No sausage. Gorilla happy. Dragonforce much like United Nations. Members from Hong Kong, England, South Africa, France, and Ukraine. Gorilla think watching this band try to argue with one another is proabably funny to watch. So many languages. So much cursing. So many funny words.
Dragonforce make music to fight Dragons to. After a long day of fighting dragons, Gorilla like to listen to music that help to reflect on fighting with dragons. Songs on
Valley Of the Damned is fast with a lot of melody and noodly guitar playing. Gorilla listen to "Black winter night" and play air guitar and make devil horns in cage. Other Gorillas laugh and point, but Gorilla no care. Gorilla rocking out to songs about mountains, swords, ancient warriors, and fighting dragons. So much talent in Dragonforce band. Singer sounds like Dennis DeYoung from STYX on "StarFire"... Come sail away, Come sail away, Come sail away with Gorilla...
Gorilla think it a shame that band plays music that won't make money in U.S. German and Japanese audiences must love Dragonforce though...all tour dates are for Japan and Europe. Heavy metal anthems and singing about dragons and swords go over like gangbusters in Germany and Japan... Gorilla think so, anyway. Gorilla no get to Germany as often as Gorilla like, because cars so small and food so bulky.
Valley Of the Damned is guilty pleasure music for metalheads who like to scream and sing high..make devil horns...don't pay attention to gorillas and stupid guards who laugh and point.
