Burning Live in Tokyo 2002

It's a terrible shame that this disc contains some of the best musicians on the planet: Virgil Donati - Drums, Tony MacAlpine - Guitar, Phillip Bynoe - Bass, Vitalli Koprijev - Keys. What makes this disc utterly AWFUL is the fact that lead 'singer' Mark Boals possesses one of the WORST voices I have EVER witnessed in heavy metal. He is flat on most of the songs, his high pitched hystrionics and dreadful phrasing and delivery are simply unbearable, not to mention some of the most lame-ass, dated, cliche-ridden lyrical vomit I've witnessed in years. I understand needing money guys, but hooking up with this second-tier clown is downright pathetic. Granted each musician on this disc simply shines from start to finish at their individual instruments, but who really cares when the songs are so bad all you do is fast-forward to the solos.....into the compactor it goes.....
