MUSIC AS A WEAPON II
Hoo boy! The boss man seen this show last year, and he dun said it was fuggin' awesome. Now he said I couldn't go because I dun crapped in my chaps... I guess he couldn't stand the stink...whatever. OK, so he figgers he can make good by giving me the
Music As A Weapon CD/DVD and havin' me givin a review of it.
I likes DISTURBED, boy. Hells, I AM disturbed most of the time. Thems is an awesome band, and that singer David Draiman has some great command of his people in a crowd. They do this new ditty "Dehumanized" which is purty badass...along with a cover of METALLICA's "Fade To Black", which is OK...but I like the original... sort of like old Coke and new Coke... Mmm... anyone got a bump?
Anywho, the other bands on this disc is like filler waitin' for Disturbed to get their asses on stage. I'm listenin' to this guy in UNLOCO... a band that don't have a label no more... and thinkin' "Hoo boy, I could do this better when I'm drinkin'.." and the TAPROOT guys is pretty much wallpaper except for their song that they do called "Poem". I gots a poem for ya. "Roses is red. Violets is blue. Learn to write a fuggin' song, boy..." And then CHEVELLE shows up and keeps the stage warm fer Disturbed some more. I never could get what thems guys was doin' other then borrowin' a name from a car to get some attention. I could fart into a ketchup bottle and make sum better music.
The DVD is worth gettin' though, just so you can see the crowd go apeshit when Disturbed shows up. Boy, thems is like a bunch of posessed monkeys... you know, the good kind of monkeys...I dunno what I'm sayin' I'm so hammered I can't sees more than a foot in front of my face. During "Stupify", the singers from Chevelle and Unloco get on stage with Disturbed and show us all why they shouldn't have their record deals.
Hoo boy. It's a Disturbed live disc. There's also three opening acts. If you likes them guys, then you should gets it.
