Buried In Oblivion by INTO ETERNITY. Gorilla like QUEENSRŸCHE. Gorilla also like TESTAMENT. Gorilla not sure if Gorilla crazy about TESTA-RYCHE band. This is what Into Eternity does. Into Eternity take melodic metal riff and melodic metal vocal and mixes it with death metal riff and death metal vocal.
Confused like Gorilla? Good.
Good thing is that Into Eternity mix cake and hamburgers so they don't taste bad. Think about DREAM THEATER music mixed with Queensryche vocals...then sprinkle in Testament riff... you have "Splintered Visions". Song start with Mike Varney/Shrapnel-esque soloing from Tim Roth (Gorilla think so, anyway)...and go into fast metal riff. Gorilla feet tap fast and happy...then tap angry. "Embrace By Desolation" start out with complicated prog-rock riff peppered with death growling. Gorilla like pepper on egg sandwich sometimes.
"Beginning of the end" make Gorilla head start banging like old-school METALLICA, but then stop banging and Gorilla play air guitar. Into Eternity is metal for people who pay attention. Gorilla have to pay attention for all ten songs on
Buried In Oblivion. No falling asleep on the job for Gorilla.
"Morose Seclusion" shows how well Chris Krall can sing. Sing like nuts in vice. This is how Gorilla know band is good. Listen to ballads. If band write good ballads, then band usually A-OK in other places.
